Humphres, 69, of Valles Mines, passed away on February 27, 2010 at his home. Born October 9, 1940 in Vina, Alabama; the son of the late Cleve and Nettie (Hamn) Humphres. He is survived by his loving wife, Jetta (Harris) Humphres. Wendell was a mold maker for Saint-Go-Bin Containers. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union, and President of the Flint Workers Union. He loved working on cars. Mr. Humphres was the dear father of Phillip (Linda) Humphres, Hillsboro, Robert (Melissa) Humphres, DeSoto and Anthony (Brenna) Humphres of Valles Mines; dear grandfather of nine grandchildren: Wendell, Crystal, Melissa, Robert, Erich, Ryan, Travis, Austin and Evan; dear great-grandfather of nine grandchildren: Dalton, Jacob, Makayla, Brody, Caliegh, Tyler, Layla, Samantha and Miraha. Rev. Gene Moses will be officiating.
