Memorials/Donations Obituary Jim L. Pape, 76, of DeSoto, passed away in Crystal City on June 7, 2010; he was the son of Walter M. Pape of Chandler, Oklahoma and the late Leona (Price) Pape. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna R. Pape. Mr Pape was a union carpenter in the construction business. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Jim was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Pape was the dear father of Bill (P.J.) Pape of Salina, OK, Lenora Clark of Cedar Hill, Teresa (Scott) Andrews of Cedar Hill, Rebekah Jane (David) Canbell of Cottonwood, KS; dear grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Walter C. Pape and David A Pape both of Oswego, KS, Bonnie (Joe) Essex of Mountainview, MO and Patty; he was a half-brother to Benita, Judy, Cathy and Cindy. He leaves behind a special friend, Paula Edgar. Along with his wife and mother he was preceded in death by two sons: Terry Pape and Jimmy Lee Pape and a daughter, Sharon Pape. Rev. Bob Thebeau will be officiating funeral ceremony.
