He was a student at Jefferson College who loved nature and the outdoors. He was born August 5, 1975, in Mountain Home, AR to Bill Abeln of Hillsboro and Lola (Smith) Abeln of Marshfield, MO. In addition to his parents he is survived by his stepmother: Kim Abeln of Hillsboro, his mother's friend: Tom Bitting of Marshfield, MO, sister: Emily Rose Abeln of Hillsboro, aunt and uncle: Trish and Jimmy Curtis of Midway, AR,stepbrothers: Chris, Nick and Dustin of St Louis, stepsister: Cody of Hillsboro, and cousins: Amy Curtis of Midway, AR and Carlissa Thomas of Ozark,MO along with many friends. Service to be officiated by Chaplain John Davis.
