Mr. Johnston was born February 28, 1944 in St. Louis; he was the son of the late Carl and Alice (Ohms) Johnston. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Karen (Rencehausen) Johnston of DeSoto. Mr. Johnston was owner of Wes Johnston Construction for 42 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1721 of Festus. Wes liked working, hunting and fishing. Mr. Johnston was the father of Wes A. (Kari) Johnston of DeSoto and Pam (Erich) Sweet of Hillsboro; dear grandfather of Lauren, Paxton and A. J.; dear brother of Earl (Rita) Johnston of DeSoto. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Carl Johnston and Ronnie Johnston. Bro. Ronald Duncan will be officiating the funeral service.
