Burrow, 80, of DeSoto passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Anthony's Medical Center, St. Louis County. Born November 24, 1929 in Pontiac, Illinois; he was the son of the late Buford and Belvie (nee Jordan) Burrow. He is survived by his dear wife of 59 years, Helen W. (nee Lyerla) Burrow of DeSoto. Billy was a burner for the American Car Company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Burrow was the father of David Burrow of DeSoto, Beverly (Frank) Mattingly of Imperial; six grandchildren: Ronnie (Jennifer) Sparks, Lonnie (Trish) Sparks, David (Amanda) Burrow,Danielle (Joe) Robinson and Amy and Andy Mattingly; four great-grandchildren: Tyler, Carter, Rille and Sam; dear brother of Floyd (Margie) Burrow of Bunker, Arneda (Vernon) Hodge of Bunker and Eudora (Woody) Strange of Bunker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Burrow and two sisters, Loretta Burrow and Louise Hay. The funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Travis Watkins.
