Emergency Dinner! Fundraiser Aims to Improve Emergency Response

Looking for something to do this weekend? Friday May 21 a fundraiser dinner will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 310 Central Avenue in Pevely to enhance emergency response services. The dinner will be held in the school gym. Free will offerings will be accepted for the dinner which will include BBQ pork steaks and a choice of two sides with carry outs available. Tickets for a cash raffle will also be sold at the dinner. Winners of the raffle will be drawn on August 6. More details on the raffle can be found at Search Assist Technology's web site, www.searchassisttech.com.
Search Assist Technologies is a non-profit organization that aims to provide specialized equipment to existing emergency response organizations and law enforcement agencies as needed and free of charge. The organization is currently focused on acquiring equipment to help in underwater searches for drowning victims, missing vehicles or evidence suspected lost under water. By providing the specialized equipment and trained operators, they hope to help other agencies complete their missions quickly and safely. The proceeds from the dinner will be used to help pay for expensed incurred as Search Assist Technologies works towards securing needed equipment and becoming fully operational.

Pastor Flo is an amazing man, friend, and most of all servant of the word. he would not be comfortable hearing this but it is true. i thank God daily for placing pastor Flo into our lives. pastor has been there for us in good times and bad with his knowledge, compassion and ever reminding us that we have been forgiven through Jesus Christ. than you again |
